Key Job Responsibilities

• Build, support, and extend features of internal web applications.
• Consult with business analysts and business leads to understand and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Work with proper oversight, change control, and coding methods to support best practice in software development.
• Team with, mentor, and learn from colleagues; lead design review and work with peers to build better software.
• Learn GSS methods and libraries; contribute actively to building better toolset.

Key Technical Skills

• ColdFusion web development, including components, query of queries, and the MX architecture.
• Supporting Web skills, including HTML, XML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, SQL, and GUI design.
• Java web experience highly desirable.
• Familiarity with design patterns, application architecture, three-tier model-view-controller framework.
• Customer-centric view, adaptable to support the business process and functional specification

Technical Skills
• At least three years ColdFusion development with solid grounding in the modern component-based framework.
• Full complement of related web development skills including Javascript and XML.
• Moderate SQL database skills, including stored procedures and database modeling.
• Java web experience very useful in the future.
