Closing output windows

Is there a quick way to close all the tabs that open up in the output  
window after running multiple tests for example?  It's easy to get a  
whole bunch of unit test run output tabs open when running the same  
test over and over, but I don't know of a quick way of closing all the  
tabs in the output window, short of closing the entire output window.

Not yet. Bug in the NetBeans platform itself:

This should happen only when you are using 'hidden/docked' Output Window:

(this Ruby issues depends on another general platform bug)

So workaround is not using docked OW, it that is your case.

Thanks for the reply.  I need to check my mailing list email more often!  However the work around doesn't seem to work.  The output windows don't get reused when the output window is docked and visible, docked and hidden, undocked, whatever.  This is on Mac OS X Leopard, JDK 1.6, NetBeans 6.1 nightly build of a few days ago.

Hi Steve,

so that's some new bug, related to Leopard, since it works for me on
Linux, when not using 'minimized' output window.
Could you file a new issue for it to the IssueZilla with simple steps
and might be a small screenshot of your Output Window (to see name
patterns of tabs).
