I apologize in advance for sending this, but I’m desperate to sell this car.
A major financial calamity has left us in dire need of several thousand
dollars to preserve our home and the way of life of our older disabled son.
Thank you in advance for your patience with the intrusion and for passing
this on to anyone you might know who could want a very classy and rare
project car:

Here we go.....Hope it does well!

1929 Franklin
What we have here is an on-line Estate sale of a very unique vehicle! Look
around, there aren't many for sale. You can have this very restorable 1929
Franklin Sedan for a meager amount of loot compared to what I've seen out
there!

It was owned by a somewhat eccentric older gentleman who just had too many
irons in the fire! He has since passed away and the proceeds will go to his
family. You might notice a few other cars in the pictures (they're already
sold). He was something of a genius in many ways...liked to take things
apart and see how they worked...Clocks, radios, model trains.....built his
own parts if he couldn't find them...that sort of thing. I will make sure
everything we know is Franklin from the garage goes in the car, and the
extra engine pictured is available to the winning bidder if he so desires,
but keep in mind the shipping is up to you, and it might present some minor
difficulties.

We believe the engine that is in the car was rebuilt by a local machine shop
before the owner's death. When I was at the location a couple of years ago,
we charged up the battery and jump started the car. It drove out of the
garage and back in for us. This was a couple of years ago, but I think we
can safely say this is not for from being a running chassis. I also believe
the brakes and frame were gone through a few years ago. This car is being
sold as exempt, miles unknown! Obviously, it needs to be finished in your
shop. If you consider it as a rebuilder, then are surprised by the good
things you find, that would be a proper outlook!

Now a little info about the manufacturer:

Franklins were built from 1902 -1934 in Syracuse N.Y. and approximately
250,000 cars total were built in that 32 years. By 1929 the FRANKLIN was
equipped with its best ever to date and until the end engine. It was a 100
Horse power, air-cooled overhead valve engine. This same engine was proven
by installing it in a Waco airplane and flown.

For more information on FRANKLIN Automobiles AND A LINK TO A great club GO
TO WWW.FRANKLINCAR.ORG. This is a wonderful club to join, where you will see
Franklins of all years and conditions. The club has many functions including
the yearly event "FRANKLIN TREK" where approximately 100 Franklins and
owners gather in Cazenovia NY from July 26th to Aug 2nd. The club welcomes
everyone, young and old, and the cars are in all conditions from perfectly
restored to "barn fresh". Check out the site!!!!

If you are impatient, hit the 'Buy it Now' button right now! It's a good
price. If you've made it this far in the description (you know who you are),
you know you're interested and should make a bid! I will tell you the
reserve is a bit less than the 'Buy it Now', but do you want to take the
chance on someone else getting your new Project? Hit the button! Go
ahead...you deserve it!
