Chuck Hansen's Swords of ArmageddonCHUCK HANSEN'S SWORDS OF ARMAGEDDON
The new CD-ROM written by the nuclear historical researcher Chuck Hansen is a truly valuable resource. I recommend it highly; please let others know about it. Steve Aftergood mentioned the updated Swords of Armageddon CD in Secrecy News this month: ====== The late Chuck Hansen, a relentless and resourceful researcher, worked for decades to document the history, technology, design and development of nuclear weapons. His findings helped nurture a continuing wave of scholarship and historical reflection on nuclear policy and technology. An extensive new collection of his most valuable and important acquisitions has recently been published on compact disk under the title Swords of Armageddon, Version 2. It is a veritable encyclopedia of nuclear weapons history. More details about the collection and ordering information can be found here: http://www.nuclearweaponhistory.com/coldwar/ Description reprinted from SECRECY NEWS - Steven Aftergood from the FAS Project on Government Secrecy Volume 2007, Issue No. 103 October 19, 2007 ====== Other items are described here: http://www.nuclearweaponhistory.com/coldwar/ Here's the table of contents for his book: http://www.nuclearweaponhistory.com/coldwar/tablecontents.asp Here's a whole bunch of great stuff including articles: http://www.nuclearweaponhistory.com/coldwar/archives.asp Here's a 28 page inventory of Chuck Hansen's papers catalogued so far at the National Security Archive. http://www.nuclearweaponhistory.com/coldwar/HansenArchive.pdf Please let others know about this, thanks. ********************************************************************** For Listserv Instructions, see http://www.lawlists.net/cyberia Off-Topic threads: http://www.lawlists.net/mailman/listinfo/cyberia-ot Need more help?
