Changes to the property length setting in hibernate mapping file

Hi All,

Just a quick question, when using liquiBase to create an SQL update script from a hibernate mapping file, does liquibase go to the level of adjusting changes to property/field lengths? For example, if I change the length setting in the hibernate class mapping file from 20 to 50 should liquibase create a SQL statement to adjust this column length in the database?

 <property name="name" type="string" column="name" not-null="true" length="50" />

Not having the code in front of me, I'm thinking it doesn't check that.  The best way to know for sure would be to try it out :)
