Cannot transfer more than 1024 images

Hi,

I'm trying to download all 1029 images from a 4 GB compact flash card in
a Canon 400d. gphoto2 -P fails with "Error (-8: 'Fixed limit
exceeded')". In the debug log I found this line:

95.705815 gphoto2-list(0): gp_list_append: Tried to add more than 1024
entries to the list, reporting error.

(Note that with this camera, all images (well, up to 10,000) are in a
single directory)

Regards,
Wim.

We currently just support 1024 images per folder.

If you build your own libgphoto2, you can use our development branch, which
is however not compatible to existing libgphoto2 users.

Otherwise its difficult to workaround, perhaps create a new folder every
1000 images.

Ciao, Marcus
