Hi,

the bug appeared on create publication form is fixed in the svn trunk
version.

On an existing 3.1 installtion, please replace
campsite/implementation/site/plugins/poll/admin-files/include/pub/pub_form.p
hp with this version.

Hi Radenko,

We just fixed one of the bugs (the one regarding caching), thanks for
reporting them.
I am gonna take a look to one that does not allow you to create
publications and will let you know anything as soon as possible.

I installed campsite v 3.1.1 on shared hosting with c-panel.

Everitnig was ok during instalation but I coudn't access to admin (got 404 error) unless I add this line:

Options -Indexes FollowSymlinks MultiViews

in .htaccess file.

Afther that I could log in admin panel and change the publication alias.

But, when I tryed to delete language I got this error, it looks like cache problem and I don't have installed APC:

Ok, I know how to limit article number on front-end, for displaying purposes on webiste, what interests me, is it possible to limit the number of articles that are being show in the administration panel?

Post-installation problems with pear include files

Hi

Upon installing campsite-3.1.1, I cannot login to the administrative interface. When accessing admin/login.php from the browser, I get the following error message in the apache error_log:

I noticed that the file File.php is in the include/pear subdirectory, but could not figure out how to add that path to the include_path. Which include_path anyway?

Then I added File to the pear installation of my server with "pear install File". I tried to connect to admin/login.php through the browser again, but got the following error:

PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _pear_call_destructors() (previously declared in /home/webadmin/test.bezinningsblad.net/html/include/pear/PEAR.php:759) in /usr/share/pear/PEAR.php on line 802

Any idea how to solve this?

OK, I've un-commented the lines in httpd.conf relating to VirtualHost, and was able to stop then start Apache without it crashing. I then reinstalled Campware 3.11 from scratch and went through the setup steps again. All items on the initial setup "check" screen were green except for PHP caching.

Upon being presented with the Administrator icon I clicked on it and still get a Not Found page saying "The requested URL /admin/index.php was not found on this server."

By the way, we're running on a virtual private server at Network Solutions, if I haven't already mentioned that. The actual Campsite files are located in /var/www/vhosts/islamtribune.com/httpdocs

Please read these pages on how to configure apache and PHP for Campsite:

Do the configuration exactly as described there, restart apache and check the site. If it still doesn't work please send me the apache logs and config file.

...and then I restarted Apache. I had already renamed htaccess to .htaccess after reinstalling Campsite 3.11. No joy- still get the 404 error when trying to load the admin page in my browser.

Also, when I visit www.islamtribune.com I get the following:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 23040 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/islamtribune.com/httpdocs/classes/User.php on line 130

We're running on a Network Solutions vps, using Fedora core 6 and Apache 2.2.3. The actual Campsite files are found in /var/www/vhosts/islamtribune.com/httpdocs.

I have no such directory tree or file as /extra/httpd/vhosts.conf in /etc/httpd/conf, just the files httpd.conf, httpd.pem and magic.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

I checked the archive and it is valid, please try a different archiving tool. The admin directory does not exist indeed and it is not needed. Campsite relies on the multiviews apache option to run the admin.php script whenever it receives a request like: /admin/something/

Further information: I tried unarchiving the campsite-3.1.1.tar.gz on my Windows PC using WinRAR version 3.70, rather than using "tar -xzfv" on our Linux server, and it fails saying
"F:\campsite-3.1.1.tar.gz: Cannot create dmin\
F:\campsite-3.1.1.tar.gz: Cannot create eÅ "

I've tried redownloading the file from different mirrors on Sourceforge and get the same results.

I've uninstalled WinRAR 3.70 and installed their latest version, 3.80b4 and get the same error.

I was able to extract the files using 7Zip 4.57 but there's still no admin directory under implementation/site.

I think the .tar.gz archive file is corrupt on the mirors.

Please make sure the multiviews option was enabled in the apache virtual host (see also the INSTALL file) and restart apache. Example:

    <Directory /var/www/campsite>
            Options -Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
            ...
    </Directory>

There is no admin directory and none is needed. Apache runs admin.php whenever it receives a request like: /admin/...
