Can you update the extension to the 3.01 version of the PHP License. I
know some Debian folk get unhappy about pecl extensions that use 3.0
since the terms are technically not correct.
--enable-phpCairo should probably be --with-cario and allow an optional
prefix for cairo to find libs / headers.
The version of the extension should ideally be in the header file and
use a -dev suffix for development. See
http://wiki.php.net/rfc/peclversioning/solution1#requirementsI've not yet looked at the actual code though to check it works.
