CUPS?

I need to create a print server, and it looks like DL will not work
since it doesn't contain cups.

Would it be a lot of work to add cups?  (I'll do the work, provided
it's not a major pain).  I'm not sure if cups is just one package, or
if I'd have to go out and download a bazillion individual print
drivers (or other crap).  How is cups packaged?

No idea.
But I support the idea of you doing all the work!

Good luck!

I don't have time to add CUPS to DL and still meet the deadline to get
this print server up and running.  Especially since I need to do some
things I've never done before, like joining Samba to an Active
Directory domain.

I'm going to get this print server running on a different distro now,
then add CUPS and port the server to DL later.  (i.e. don't expect to
see CUPS added to DL anytime soon)  :-)

For some reason I thought we already CUPS in DL, but I don't see any
print server software....

OK, that's what I was thinking of!

Since the tar file is upper case, my 'ls src/lp*' didn't show anything.  :-)
