CIFS traceHi
all,
i have enabled
#options
cifs.trace_login on
#options cifs.trace_dc_connection on I have a share
called BI on the filer which I try to mount with correct or wrong password
and get always this message:

If I look at other
shares like home shares I get a lot more log files:

with my BI share?? What means NULL
user?

RE: CIFS traceHi Unless there is some other problem I would not say there is anything wrong with the share. Take a look at https://now.netapp.com/Knowledgebase/solutionarea.asp?id=ntapcs5136 it explains the NULL user message. Basically it means a client is enumerating the shares without logging on. regards Kenneth
