Normally also Bel Air Camera in Westwood, but I bought
their last 5 rolls of Kodachrome Saturday a week ago
(after someone also had almost bought them out of
their entire Kodachrome stock not long before,
according to the counter clerk), and they were dated
12/08 expiration, so it sounds like they hadn't
ordered in a while, and I don't know if they have it
back in stock yet (I bought them for a Norway trip,
and Bergen, Norway is where I'm writing from now!).
I needed more than 5, and was less than a week from
leaving on this trip, so I rushed over to Samy's
Culver City store (Samy's has several locations around
L A, and that was the closest to Bel Air Camera).
They don't have film at the counter at that store (all
the film is in the back), and the clerk had to go in
the back to see if they had any, but was able to sell
me a dozenish rolls no problem. And they turned out
to be dated 06/09 expiration, so they had obviously
ordered more recently than Bel Air Camera had.
