Bulletin Boards/ForumsHi folks Anyone know if Farcry v4 supports some kind of bulletin board plug-in, or if there are some CFMX based bulletin boards that would sit alongside a farcry driven website nicely ? Something along the lines of phpBB would be ideal http://www.phpbb.com/ Cheers B --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group. However, there are plenty of CF-written forum software packages that are free (and some not-so-free) that shouldn't be too difficult to incorporate into a FarCry site (ie. As an include). A friend of mine recently released a pretty nice CF forum called CF4em (http://www.cf4em.com) which is close to PHPBB. Some other free ones that are out there are: http://galleon.riaforge.org/, http://cfmbb.riaforge.org/ , http://sigmaforums.riaforge.org/, http://fuseforum.riaforge.org/, http://flexorum.riaforge.org/ . Re: Bulletin Boards/ForumsI have also integrated FuseTalk with a FarCry 4 site, if you are also interested in Commercial forum software. Re: Bulletin Boards/ForumsJeff, I also was wondering about the forum question. You say it would not be too difficult to do as an include. Would you expound some? Re: Bulletin Boards/ForumsThanks for the all the suggestions. Since posting, Ive found this free forum provider, which seems to be just the ticket for a free solution. http://www.freeforums.org/ Whilst I would have liked to go with one of the free cold fusion based solutions as I would then able to host the forums myself and have complete control, the freeforums.org package only requires a quick sign-up to get it up and running....the perfect quick forum integration solution for me on this occasion.
