Building qdvdauthor on Fedora 9

Hello,
   I am trying to build qdvdauthor-1.2.0 from  sources on  Fedora 9.

   I have qt 4 on this machine (this is the default, which comes with
the distribution - qt-4.3.4-11.fc9.x86_64).

Also qt-devel is installed there (qt-devel-4.3.4-11.fc9.x86_64).

Running ./configure gives:

*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+**+*+*+*+*
*+*+ Please wait while building configurator  +*+*
*+*+ your graphical configuration application +*+*

./configure: line 326: /bin/qmake: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target
`/usr/lib/qt3/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf', needed by `Makefile'.
Stop.
Problems compiling configurator application
Please report to qdvdauthor@...


Now, what should I do ?

It seems that qdvdauthor is expecting qt3, but I have qt4; (it looks
in /usr/lib/qt3/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf)
I don't want to perform downgrading to qt3 .

Any ideas?

qdvdauthor is a qt 3.x app.

You have to have the Q 3.x devel packages installed.

If the configurator does not find the right version you can manually set
qQTDIR beorehand.
