BuildLink Question - NewbieHey guys, Ok, so we have Friendly URLs working. Our nav, footer, etc, all use the buildLink tag. But in the content body, when a user adds a page with links, how are they supposed to use the buildLink tag. I tried it and its ignored. Not sure how friendly URLs work inside the html body... the TineMCE interface doesnt seem to have any capability to do this either. Am I missing something? Re: BuildLink Question - NewbieWell in theory you should be able to associate a navigation item with your content and then use the farcry "trumpet" logo in the editor to select and display the url as a friendly url, but for some reason when I looked at it the other day the insertHTML that does this seems to be missing.
Unfortunately since then I haven't had an opportunity to look at it in detail to work out what, where, when, how. If you want to have a try yourself, basically, you need to create a file called insertHTML.cfm that takes an objectID and looks up the friendly url for that ObjectID. Sorry not to be much more help Stephen On 01/10/2007, Sami Hoda <
