Bug report: Update not also Refreshing displayWindows XP, 4.0.3 (ran the 4.0.4 installer, still says 4.0.3), Pro
evaluation. Something weird I just noticed is that if you do an Update and pull down new directories (possibly files also) it doesn't automatically refresh the display with the changes. For example, I opened a project that has several thousand files and a pretty good amount of directories. While it is doing the initial refresh I hit the Update button and it starts spooling down lots of data. Included in the update are several new directories and lots of new files within the directory structure, but none of the newly added files get added to the Directories or Files (I think) lists, I have to hit Refresh again to get it correctly updated. Thanks. Damien [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Restarting SmartSVN should fix the problem in any case. > Something weird I just noticed is that if you do an Update and pull down > new directories (possibly files also) it doesn't automatically refresh > the display with the changes. Thanks for reporting this problem. The final stage of the Refresh actually discards files/directories (from the display) which have been freshly updated. This will be fixed for version 4.0.5. -- Best regards, Marc Strapetz _____________ syntevo GmbH www.syntevo.com "Damien McKenna" <damien.mckenna@...> wrote: > Windows XP, 4.0.3 (ran the 4.0.4 installer, still says 4.0.3), Pro > evaluation. > > Something weird I just noticed is that if you do an Update and pull down > new directories (possibly files also) it doesn't automatically refresh > the display with the changes. > > For example, I opened a project that has several thousand files and a > pretty good amount of directories. I did run the installer and have rebooted a few times since. It's not a major problem right now, I'll just wait for the 4.0.5 update. > > Something weird I just noticed is that if you do an Update > > and pull down new directories (possibly files also) it doesn't > > automatically refresh the display with the changes. > > Thanks for reporting this problem.
