Bug in zooming code

Hi,

If you click and drag on the scale at the top of the details section
you can graphically specify a region to either zoom to or recenter.
While moving the mouse causing the selection area to "rubberband",
the coordinates are continuously updated in the "Landmark or Region"
text input area.

When the mouse button is released a popup is displayed which gives
the user the options of "Zoom in", "Recenter on this region", "Dump
selection as FASTA", or "X" (Cancel).

If the user cancels by clicking on the "X", the coordinates in the
"Landmark or Region" text input area remain updated showing the
latest size of the selection window.  At this point, if the user
turns a track on or off and clicks on "Update Image", the page is
redrawn at the canceled zoom size, not its current size.

This is still occurring with a CVS update I made minutes ago.

Thanks for finding that! Sheldon, when you get a chance, I believe this is a problem in the rubberbanding code.

Hi Wes,

Yep, I have in mind a patch for this.  I'll sort it out.

Hi Wes,

I fixed this last week.  A new checkout should resolve this bug.

Hi Sheldon,

Yes, the bug is gone.  I can see that you no longer updated the "Landmark
or Region" coordinates while dragging.  It was kind of nice seeing those
coordinates update.  It must have been difficult to have them snap back
to the original coordinates when the dragging was canceled.  Thanks for
fixing this.
