Dear Maintainer ,..

when  using isreal DST values the time isn't the correct one that is in
reallity for example :
  Today (31/3/2008 ) Isreal -
    While the real time is 12:25
    the date retorns me :
       Mon Mar 31 12:37:19 IDT 2008

Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)

Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores)
Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash

Versions of packages libc6 depends on:
ii  libgcc1                       1:4.2.2-4  GCC support library

libc6 recommends no packages.

What do you call "real time" precisely? Is it the time on your wall
clock or a time from your computer? I find very strange to not have an
entire number of hours between the two, but instead a 12 minutes difference.

What time did you expect instead of the one currently returned?

dates but to goverment ideas).

What's the output of:
/sbin/hwclock
TZ="UTC" date
TZ="Israel" date
