Package: reportbug
Version: 3.42
Followup-For: Bug #392465

I just ran into the same problem, reportbug said the messages were being
sent but when I happened to look at /var/log/exim4/mainlog I saw the
following:

2008-07-23 15:28:39 1KLmp5-0007Vw-2Y ** redomen@...
R=nonlocal:
Mailing to remote domains not supported
2008-07-23 15:28:39 1KLmp5-0007Vw-2Y Frozen (delivery error message)

dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config fixed it but a lot of bug reports never
went through.

But this is not a problem in reportbug itself but in the configuration
of the local MTA. There is no right action we can do about it. I'll
try to make it clearer in the documentation and the pre-submit page
for reportbug that the MTA should be set-up and working correctly to
let reportbug do its job.

Kindly,
Sandro
