Bug#388189: ImportError: .../apt_pkg.so: undefined symbol: _ZN15SHA256SummationC1EvPackage: python-apt
Version: 0.6.19 Severity: important I saw the "ImportError" message on a package installation via aptutude. Looks like it does not affect the result, but I'm not sure about it (and single *-doc package is probably not a good test for full functionality). max$ sudo aptitude install libglib2.0-doc <skipped> The following NEW packages will be installed: libglib2.0-doc 0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 764 not upgraded. Need to get 700kB of archives. After unpacking 5235kB will be used. Writing extended state information... Done Get:1 http://<server name skipped> etch/main libglib2.0-doc 2.10.3-3 [700kB] Fetched 700kB in 0s (2850kB/s) Reading package fields... Done Reading package status...
