Speaking of previously vinyl-only labels....
http://www.beatport.com/label/Basic+Channel

I downloaded 2.85 GB of .wav files last night. They sound about the same
as my vinyl transfers, though.

Yes, you pay an extra "Wav handling fee".

Delsin track

All quiet on 313 last few days so I'll fire a slew of questions out  ;-)
I guess I could just send this to Marsel but maybe to the list is nice as it highlights what a roll Delsin are on at the moment.
In my usual lack-of-time tardy way I only got to listen to the "Delsin New Season Winter 2007" mix
(http://www.delsin.org/audio/DelsinNewSeasonMixWinter2007.mp3)
recently, really enjoying this, I think I want to get everything that's coming out!
I'm not sure if a track list went up when the mix got posted on here originally, if it did can someone forward it to me?
If not I'd at least like to know what track it is that kicks in at about 26 mins and can you tell us when it will be available sir?
(if it isn't already).

Cheers for this.  One of my new year resolutions was to shop more widely.  I tend to spend a lot of time listening to too many of
the new releases at one local shop with the consequence the next batch arrive there before I've finished and I end up never going
elsewhere.  I used to shop in 2 local shops but then one of them (where we briefly met) closed, :-(, so now I have "all my eggs in
one basket".  This is typical of how I miss good things when they don't get them in.  Off to order now.........

Indeed, I basically look at the new releases Piccadilly have in via their website.  This takes me most of the week.  Then I go in
there and properly listen to those that caught my eye / ear on their site, usually on a Saturday.  Then on Monday the whole process
begins again.

This has been going on for several years now and is ruining my appreciation of music.  Here are 3 things I never have time to listen
to as I spend my entire time that's free to listen to anything listening to clips off Piccadilly (I'm doing it right now, even as I
type):

1. Practically any music at any other shop (I might for example quickly check the Hardwax site the week before a trip to Berlin and
then go in there but that's about it).

2.  Any mixes.  It takes going away on holiday and lying on a beach with an mp3 player for me to do this.  Before I went away for 3
weeks in Jan I loaded my player up with literally dozens I'd downloaded to my PC because they looked really good.  In the end it was
a busy holiday and I managed to listen to only 2 (of which the Delsin one was one).

3.  Worst of all the records I've actually bought as a result of this arduous process!

I'm totally sick of this.  I'd way rather listen to my records I bought and good mixes than endless clips from shops.  It's got to
the point where my appreciation of listening to music has been damaged and I'd almost rather just put the TV on (this never used to
happen).  I know it's a habit I've got to kick but I just can't help myself!  Hopefully writing this will help me be firmer and stop
listening to so much stuff in one place I miss the stuff I'm really after at others (admitting you have a problem is the first step
;-).  I wonder if The Priory treat this one?
