Backwards compatibility

Hi all,

I searched through the archive but couldn't find anything.

Is Fast Infoset XML backwards compatible along versions? When I serialize some XML with version 1.0.2, will it always correctly parse with version 1.1.8? Maybe I should also mension that we use an external vocabulary.
