Backend Document Validation

[Carsten Kerkhoff-2]

I need to validate new documents at backend side, e.g. check business
rules before the object is saved. In case of errors an exception shall
be thrown to the calling client application.
So this shall check validation rules independent from client application.

Environment: Oracle 10, ContentServer 5/6

Thanks for the pointer - think, I found the appropriate stuff...

just wrap your documentum exception over you application exception

or vice versa depends on your architecture
