Has Axion been abandoned?  I recently discovered it, and have been lurking for the last couple months.  I haven't seen much activity and was wondering what that status is?

Hi Stephan,

good question. I am on the mailing list (I am not a developer) and your message just now was the first in a long time...

Actually I like Axion. I use it as an embedded database in Java Application and it's just working fine, even though there are a few things missing. Performance is also ok. Since I want to stay with Java and want to use the cross platform capability, I see no reason to switch.

It's just sad that such a cool project seems to be abandoned. I am a contributor to IzPack (www.izforge.com). This is a very active project, going strong for many years.

But thanks for the link anyway
