Applying styles to TextField

Is there a way to apply different styles to TextFields without having to create one CSS property for each of them? I mean I've a dozen of TextFields and I need each of them to have a different color as background, but as much as I try to set their "style" property, it seems it always get the style of the Theme.

Am I missing something here?
