Anjuta 2.2.4.1: symbolic links in src directory?

I was using Anjuta 1.x to work with autoconf/automake based projects and use symbolic links to include source files which cannot be moved into the project directory.

It was somewhat tedious to add new files because Anjuta would insist on copying new source files into its tree, but replacing that copy with a symbolic link had the desired effect.

But now, with 2.2.4.1 the project manager shows the files, but they cannot be opened, and the file manager refuses to show symlinks.

It also doesn't show any compiler flags in any projects imported from old .prj or existing autoconf/automake projects.

Hmm, I have to check that. Actually, I never tried symbolic links.

It does for automake projects. Right click in the project manager (on a
target or a directory and choose properties. See also chapter 4 of the
manual.
