Filmaka New Contest HELP WANTED

Enter Filmaka.com's new international short film competition and win $500 to $3000 USD, PLUS entry into their contest for feature film funding. Filmaka Fx Contest

Hi,
Filmaka.com wants people to come up with the next "Southpark" type comedy and pitch it to them. You have to shoot a 3-minute film, but it doesn't have to be high-tech - they're looking for the idea. Then you write a page or two about what the whole series would be like. FX Network wants to pick up one of the submissions to make into a TV show for their fall season. Not a bad return for making a little video and writing 2 pages.

From the competition submissions, ten semi-finalists will revise their shorts based on notes from FX and receive $1,000. Filmaka will begin accepting uploads for this competition on Monday, April21. The deadline for submitting your film and written brief is midnight on May 1, 2008. After the shorts are revised, one winner will be chosen to receive a budget of up to $40,000 to create a 15- to 20-minute presentation. For more details Log on to

I think you might just have to repeat it, but I don't think they will hold you back grades if thats what you mean. You have no idea how much I have wanted to have Frou before I left high school. But no...my schedule is full next year. I'm quite sad. I professed my love to her awhile ago when we walked my sister Herman to class.

I had to take spanish..no choice. Damn IB. I wanted to take German, and orals are just an IB junior thing. IB requires oral testing as our internal assessments and the test as our external assessment. Its oh so fun.....

JACON is anime....Janicon is as well. The gaming that takes place there is table top games and RPG's. There is always gaming at cons however these are more anime focused.

Is this next con for anime and gaming? If I cosplay at all, I'll probobly go as Ness from MOTHER 2 because it'd be so easy. However I will need to fix my yo-yo.

Is anyone else in anime club interested in yo-yo's? My string broke recently and I can't find anywhere around here where I can get a good one since the doll & hobby shop closed.

Lollol, I've been listening to people complain about orals all day today. I took german and for some reason we didn't have an oral exam. And also, the jump drive thing, that;s why I 'put' it on my jump drive and e-mail it to myself. Back up plan!
