Alternative for Squirrelmail for mobile use

I think the current version of Squirrelmail isn't very good for use on
mobile devices. Therefore can anybody recommend an alternative IMAP web
client to install (in parallel with SM) for use with mobile devices?

Is there a timeline for SM templating which I understand will be better
for mobile devices?

Many thanks,
Geoff

http://www.horde.org/mimp/

webmail with horde framework comes to mind here, only reason i not using it is
that its to much complicated to manage it with updates, but still hope it will
be better olso, squirrelmail can olso be on mobile but it imho alot of work to
be done before this can be used

its more simple with a mobile that supports imap direct

Inyho you could help or tell us what about the development stream
isn't working for you.

Templating has already been completed - it is already possible to
create a mobile-targetted skin set.  The work that is left to be done
is solidify the templates, pull out the straggling bits of HTML from
the core, and build up the RPC interface so AJAX-like calls can do
more.  There also happen to be many other targeted improvements in our
development stream, like move to all-Unicode that hold up release as a
stable product just yet.
