Alias URLs for forums

I would like to suggest the ability to add alias URLs for forums.  For instance, xyz.nabble.com could be an alias (i.e. xyz could be replaced with whatever).  These would be created manually, and so people would only have them if they wanted them (and they would just choose an alias name).  Maybe each user could only have a certain number (or even just one), if that was an issue.

This would be nice for websites such as mylot.com where only certain kinds of URLs are accepted for certain lists.  Plus, it would make things easier to remember, and probably make more publicity for nabble.

Of course, aliases would need to be limited to Nabble forums (rather than having them able to point to any old website).
