After upgrade to samba 3.2 (optware) no shares available anymore

Hi,

I'm running slugosbe-4.9-beta-nslu2.
Additionally I run mysql , lighttpd + php, sshd and samba from the
optware package.

After upgrading samba to the 3.2-version noch connection to the shares
can be established anymore, neither from WinXP nor from Linux.

A "smbclient -L <hostname>" gives "protocol negotiation failed" (from
the NSLU2 itself also as from another linux machine to the NSLU2).

"nmblookup -S" works as expected.

Does anyone has made similar experiences regarding this ?

Best Regards,
Joachim

Something very similar to this was reported recently; IIRC it was due to
some config file changes involving specifying the interface; apparently
the newer Samba version requires some stuff that the older didn't (or
something like that).   Search the mailing list archives for both this
mailing list and the nslu2-general list and see if that error message
gets any hits.
