It has been almost a week since we have produced any advisory  
emails.  Rest assured that we are still here, working hard on  
providing the latest Information Security advice and commentary.

A lot of hard work has recently gone into making accessing our  
content much easier and we would like to announce the unveiling of  
our new website, at http://www.beskerming.com.

It has been a long time coming but our team put the final touches on  
our new website earlier today and smoothly replaced the existing  
site.  While the new site might look almost exactly the same as the  
old site, there have been many significant changes behind the scenes.

First and foremost, we now provide RSS and web based access to our  
security analysis and commentary reporting.  For the next few weeks,  
all site visitors will have the opportunity to gain access to the  
complete range of knowledge and expertise that we provide.  After  
that period, access to some of the detailed security analysis and  
timely reporting will be limited to fee paying clients only.

While in the past we provided limited website access to commentary  
only, the new site format now means that you can access all of our  
historical reporting - directly from the browser.  Some of our older  
historical content is still being added to the site, but what is  
there at the moment is just a taste of our complete archives.

The second main change is that the site navigation has been enhanced  
and simplified.  Content dead ends and navigation inconsistencies  
that existed in the previous incarnation of the website have now been  
removed and, with the overall simplification of the site navigation,  
it is now easier than ever to access the content that we produce on a  
regular basis.

Our mailing lists will not be going away.  Our Alert List (free  
subscription) readers will soon be getting their advisories twice a  
week, while our fee-paying clients will continue to receive their  
advisories when news and security events happen.

One of the driving forces behind the changes were reports from  
mailing list subscribers that some of the advisories had failed to  
arrive, being absorbed by spam filters along the way.  We now want to  
give you access to that information, even if your spam filter will  
delete occasional email advisories.

In addition to our feeds and new content delivery, there are now  
additional products created by Sûnnet Beskerming that will help you  
get the latest Information Security news and advice.  The first of  
these is our OS X 10.4 (Tiger) screen saver, which provides up to the  
minute details on the latest commentary and security news from Sûnnet  
Beskerming, even when you aren't at your computer:

This product will soon be joined by other applications and widgets to  
make accessing our content easier and more efficient, so remember to  
stop by regularly to check out the latest releases.

With all of the changes that have taken place, there are still some  
minor additions that will be coming in future updates, such as  
comments on our commentary, the ability to search efficiently through  
our commentary and security releases, and adding user accounts so  
that you can access fee-based services without leaving the website.
