Admin console not startingHi all,
I've just installed FMS9 onto 10.5 running on a Intel XServe usig the new(?) fms_9.0v3_full_ESD installer from Filemaker. Problem: The admin console don't want to start neither on my 10.5 macbook or locally on the server The error starts with: Unexpected exception: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException Any suggestions on where to start digging? /Per Mattsson _______________________________________________ FMPexperts mailing list FMPexperts@... http://lists.ironclad.net.au/listinfo.cgi/fmpexperts-ironclad.net.au |

Re: Admin console not startingAlso make sure you've installed all the latest system updates. (You
want to make sure you have Java 6 installed. The updates will take care of that.) On my non-Intel Mac, I ended up having to reinstall FMS. It's been working since but I'm expecting the console to suddenly die again, just cause it's already happened twice. It seems to be quite flaky. Susan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Susan Gibson fnsbg@... Re: Admin console not startingThis sounds like a java update problem. Go to getjava.com and grab the
latest version. Evan On Wed, Sep 10, 2008 at 5:05 PM, Susan Gibson <fnsbg@...> wrote: > Also make sure you've installed all the latest system updates.
