Additional Reception Ticket on SIGCHI

Hello all IXDers!

Can anybody tell me what rights give the "Additional Reception Ticket" which
I can buy with my CHI-2008 registration procedure? What is the purpose of
this ticket?
I cannot find any words about this one on the official site (

The additional reception ticket lets you bring a guest to the opening night
reception/party. You get one when you register, but if you want to bring along
a friend or spouse, you have to buy an extra ticket.
