Account icons not showing upI have one account that does not show up on the Accounts Icons view. The account that is not showing up has an identical name as another account except for the fourth word in the name which is in enclosed in ( ). The one with the brackets is showing up and was created just recently. Could the identical name be the culprit? Thanks for the help and for an excellent program. Re: Account icons not showing upHi Thomas, Sorry for the lack of information in my original message. I'm using version 0.9.1-cvs from several weeks ago and the type of accounts are investment accounts. Both are of the same mutual fund, just different account numbers. Thanks for the help. I tried to duplicate this here. Since we have not changed the icon view for ages, I doubt that I have some fix that you don't. Could it be, that you have to scroll the view to make it visible? Also, I noticed that for longer account names the names underneath the icons look identical as they are truncated. Unfortunately, there's no tooltip showing up. Any chance you can send me an anonymized file with enough information so that I can see which account you miss? -- Regards Thomas Baumgart GPG-FP: E55E D592 F45F 116B 8429 4F99 9C59 DB40 B75D D3BA ------------------------------------------------------------- 'Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Re: Account icons not showing upHi Thomas, I found out a little bit more information that may help. Both of these accounts consist of the same investment (a mutual fund) and therefore have the same "name" under the "Investments" view. If I edit the investment information of the newest account, the one that has the icon showing up and change the name to something else, then both of the accounts show up on the Icon view. I then changed the name back to the original and once again only one icon shows up. What's also happening when I make this name change on the newest account is that it changes the "Security" information in the "Ledger" view for both accounts to the new name. Maybe this will help you some more.
