Access to admin panel

Hi,

I apologize if this question has been answered before, but I'm a
newbie to FarCry (4.0.9 on Win 2K3), and I've just started setting up
my first site.

Everything installed just fine, and I can login using the default
'farcry' user.  I've added a few other users at the publisher level,
and can login as these users too.

The problem is: I can only login from the computer where I original
ran the installer.  If I try and login from another computer, I'm just
sent back to the login page.

I know that the installer directory limits access by IP address, but
is this also true of the /farcry/ folder?

I'd like to start giving external publishers the ability to add/edit
pages, but unless they can login from their own computers, this isn't
going to work.

What am I missing?

I'm a Coldfusion developer, so I can edit whatever pages need to be
changed in order to give access from other computers, I just need to
know which file(s) to change.

Thanks,
Michael

In the ColdFusion administrator, enable J2EE session variables
(checkbox under "Memory Variables").  No need to restart CF (just
remember to submit changes on the form :) ).

Hi Jeff,

Thanks, that did the trick!  Looking forward to working with FarCry, and I'm sure I'll be back with more questions in the future.

I have a similar issue.
I can log in using IE but not using FireFox.
I set up the Fortress [build:3041] on a shared server.
I submitted a ticket to see if J2EE variables are turned on.
It is not.
The Hosting Company [HostMySite.com] is a really great group but they are concerned about activating J2EE in a shared environment and how it might impact performance on the server.

Why can I get in with IE but not FF?
What options do I have?
I am concerned about my clients customers having issues when I set authentication requirements for parts of the public facing site.
