Is it possible to do more client side caching to speed up egw's
response? For example, when viewing infolog if you select add new
timesheet from the drop down menu at the top right of the titlebar, you
fill out the timesheet info, then egw regenerates the 'infolog' display
even though the infolog data didn't change due to the timesheet addition.
Another example would be changing from week view to month view in
calendar. Egw regenerates the entire display, menus and all when all
that is needed is to update the calendar display data.
I don't know if this is possible, but it seems like egw could be made a
lot more responsive if at least the top and side menus were cached
client side and you were only updating the needed information instead of
the entire page with each client input. Just a thought...
