AS2 with latest fluorine

  The flash developer I have wants to use AS2 which I guess is in Flash 8.
I had a test version running of CS3(the latest)  and the latest fluorine.
 
  So I am wondering can I use the same fluorine I have running now for AS2.  Then I can find some AS2 test code
and try it.  I see their is remote flash components to download for AS2.  If the latest fluorine won't work with AS2 where do I get the fluorine version that will.
