AIML DTD ?Hi there, I am working on a french version of AliceBot, and I wonder if
there is a DTD to check aiml files before processing them ?
The last DTD I found is in the document (1999) :
But the DTD doesn't match with the actual aiml english files.
Thanks.

I made an AIML Schema a few years ago. Recently I've totally revamped it and I'll be publishing it soon. If you have expertise in this area and would be willing to look it over to help debug it before I release it, that would be great. (I'm hoping to embed a little bit of Schematron within it to handle a few AIML requirements that cannot be expressed in W3C Schema.) Re: AIML DTD ?Hi!
DTDs
are not strong enough for validating AIML (due to the recursive nature ov
the templates). Actually, DTDs have been found not to be such a good
idea overall. Have a look at the schemas on http://aitools.org/Documentation -
I believe these are the schemas Noel talked about in '05.

Kim
