64-bit application against 32-bit DB

Hi,

In the case from the subject (64-bit app => 32-bit DB), sometimes there are discrepancies in ODBC structure size (e.g. sizeof(SQL_TIMESTAMP_STRUCT)) and DB field sizes (as reported by SQLGetTypeInfo() ODBC call). Is it the driver's (provided, of course, that the driver is 64-bit) responsibility to figure out against what DB it is executing and properly resize the data?

Thanks,

Alex
