6.4.0.55 MacOSXHi,
6.4.0.55 Doesn't seem to be working on MacOSX, can anyone confirm this? (Didn't want to make a support case as its a development version). FireFox: It asks to trust the application, it then freezes with the main content part empty. Safari: It crashes during the loading sequence. Thanks, Steven |

Re: 6.4.0.55 MacOSXHi Steven,
The build prior to 6.4.0.55 (not entirely sure what the build number was) had a crashing bug if you had a background color specified in an external stylesheet which we ran into internally. That's fixed in 6.4.0.55 and I just confirmed it's loading correctly in Safari on OS X 10.5.1. Please do log a support case about this as it's precisely the kind of error we're trying to track down. If you could make sure and include the debug log as well that will hopefully pinpoint the cause of the problem. It appears in the Console.app (and /var/lib/system.log) by default on OS X, even if the browser crashes. If you've enabled the Java Console, disable it again so the log goes to the console. The most likely cause of the crash is something about the stylesheet or document you're using as we're in the process of a fairly big change to the way we model CSS internally to enable us to support things like relative sizes and not corrupt unrecognized CSS. It may be worth trying to just load EditLive! without any content or stylesheets and see if the problem still occurs.
