4.4 and tabs

Ever since the upgrade to 4.4 (from 4.3), hitting Tab, and smart  
indent, insert real Tabs, not spaces like I want it to. I checked my  
settings, "prefer tabs" is unchecked both in "indentation" and  
"language settings". Is this a known bug, or has the upgrade botched  
some other pref that I'm not aware of (since it did reset a number of  
my preferences)?

Éric,

A couple of things to check:
- can you be specific about what all your indentation settings are
- When you change the indentation settings globally in "Edit |
Preferences", those changes do NOT effect specific settings for files
that have already been opened in Komodo. I.e., to verify if Komodo has
the settings you want you'll need to try in a *new* file, or at least
one that Komodo hasn't opened before. To see the current settings for a
particular file look at the "Current File Settings" dialog.

Trent,

My settings were correct, and after closing and reopening the file I  
have spaces instead of tabs again. It looks like *something* got  
borked in the upgrade, which was fixed when I re-saved my preferences.  
No more tabs (sorry Lindsay!)
