I've been working on merging the changes from SAK-13274 into 2.4.x.
I've found it a bit difficult to do because the chat module in 2.4.x is
fairly behind on fixes. I have had success though, by picking up the
oncourse_2-4-x branch of IU's production system, and merging all the
changes into that along with a few other small necessary changes. This
also requires bringing in a patch for the jsf module and a small db
schema change. (still investigating).
Are there any 2.4.x schools out there having problems with chat that
would be interested in this as well and helping test ? Any other
suggestions or ideas about?
I will be creating a chat branch based off the oncourse_2-4-x code that
will be available for testing.
