12WX ButtonsHi all.
I've been using xsetwacom to some small degree of success with linuxwacom 8.0.3. Some keys, like the modifiers, are mostly mapped out correctly, but others with keystroke functions I've define for actions in Photoshop just don't work at all. Below is what I've been trying to achieve, with the buttons mapped out how it seems to be in the commented section: # 09 10 #03 01 05 07 #03 02 06 07 # 04 08 xsetwacom set pad button1 "key core shift" & xsetwacom set pad button2 "key core alt" & xsetwacom set pad button3 "key core ctrl" & xsetwacom set pad button4 "key core space" & # Doesn't work for panning. xsetwacom set pad button5 "key core ctrl \z" & # Undo xsetwacom set pad button6 "key core ctrl \y" & # Redo xsetwacom set pad button7 "key core ctrl \d" & # Deselect xsetwacom set pad button8 "key core delete" & xsetwacom set pad button9 "key core ctrl \s" & # Save xsetwacom set pad button10 "key core ctrl \a" # Select all Right now, the buttons don't work as I intended at all. Some of the buttons don't even respond to xev. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Also, is there any way I can set the strip at the left to just zoom in/out? Otherwise, the linuxwacom drivers are incredible! I'd just like this extra step so I don't have to rely on my keyboard so much :) Thanks, Lani ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Linuxwacom-discuss mailing list Linuxwacom-discuss@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linuxwacom-discuss |

Re: 12WX ButtonsWell, the issue seems to be fixed when I unload and reload the compiled wacom driver, and restart X. A little inconvenient, but it works. Still don't know how to separate zoom vs scroll with the touch strips, any help with that?
Is there a way you can "hard code" the button options? Like into xorg.conf. I haven't really seen any clear way of doing that. If anyone can help out with that, that would be fantabulous. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Linuxwacom-discuss mailing list Linuxwacom-discuss@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linuxwacom-discuss |
