[vysper] roster, presence etc.Hi Gerolf,
The presence stuff is a big beast - most of RFC 3921 deals with it. Do you need me to take any specific tasks there? If yes, what would be the foremost thing where you would need support and where there is little chance that I step on your feet? Persistence? Stanza infrastructure? Something else? Re: [vysper] roster, presence etc.Hi Bernd,
what would really help is to have the persistence infrastructure up and running. because otherwise you have to put a lot of //TODO: fetch contacts that meet xy criteria in the code, which makes it feel incomplete and not much fun to work with :/ i have the first few bullets of RFC3921bis-04#3 (Managing Presence Subscription) somehow together. if you want, you can start with #4 (Exchanging Presence Information). And yes, it is a big beast. PresenceHandler has a lot to do there ;) Gerolf On Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 9:56 PM, Bernd Fondermann <bf_jak@...> wrote: > Hi Gerolf, > > The presence stuff is a big beast - most of RFC 3921 deals with it. > Do you need me to take any specific tasks there? Re: [vysper] roster, presence etc.great, sounds like you are making progress.
I am offline from tomorrow 'til Monday. If you need you could mock the roster storage backend like I did for users with SimpleUserAuthorization. I'll start with JCR next week. One step at a time, let's first go for Basic Server (XEP-0212). :-) Bernd --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: labs-unsubscribe@...
