Dear All,
I'm pleased to announce that the second meeting of the London Scala
Users Group will take place this Wednesday, 12 March, at 6.30. It's
completely informal and open to all: turnout and beer consumption were
respectably high at the last get-together. It was a very good crowd.
Since people will be coming from all directions, the get-together will
take place at the same pub as last time, The Dover Castle at postcode
W1G 7EQ (see below for link to map), which is convenient to Paddington,
Waterloo, and Victoria. The pub is tucked away on a side street and
easy to miss, so please print directions if you plan to come. Email me
directly if you'd like my mobile number.
Also, a couple of us are fixing to set up a dedicated mailing list for
the LSUG, so we don't have to unnecessarily clutter the main Scala
mailing lists. Please let me know, then, whether you'd like to go on
this list, even if you don't plan to come this Wednesday.
