[rvm-core] Cattrack down?

Hi,

I can't view:

http://jikesrvm.anu.edu.au/cattrack/

I get a 502 proxy error. We're also missing the 11am performance results
e-mail. If someone could have a look it'd be great.

Thanks,
Ian

It seems like I should fix the real problem sometime. I am away Caving
this weekend but send me an IM the weekend after if there is still
issues and I will go and take a look.

Thanks Peter, it'd be great to get this fixed properly. Is there anyway
to prod it at the moment as I've been seeing proxy errors all day. If I
get an appropriate login/permissions I wouldn't mind restarting a daemon
when necessary.

Thanks again,
Ian

I had a brief look and it looks like it is just that our database has
got HUGE and every one of those performance graph wanders over *lots*
of data. We may be able to set it up so it only takes a restricted
range (ie last 2 months or similar) as a stop gap measure.

I have set up a cron job so that it stops and starts cattrack  halfway
through every hour.

I think it is Daniel who is/was managing this machine but he may be in
the depths of writing up atm so may not be reading the mailing list as
much. Bug him or alternatively just wait an hour ;-) Or wait till I
fix it properly.

Hi Peter,

I don't understand the finer points but it's working well for me now.
Thanks!

Hi,

I'm getting proxy errors from cattrack and I'm keen to monitor the
situation with the inlining heuristics. If someone could have a look
it'd be great.

Thanks,
Ian

I just rebooted the machine.  mongrel and postgress were off with the
pixies.

We have a crontab entry which restarts cattrack every hr, but
apparently we need something more aggressive.
