Hi all,
after few minutes of working with RC2 on MacOS X Tiger I already posted at least 6 or 7 "Report Problem" with message: "java.io.IOException: Unknown format version:-3". I switch on developer version because it is impossible to work with these continue error dialogs. One more thing about automatic "Reporting Problem" and "UI Gesture" upload: it is possible to disable the automatic opening of web browser with the transmission report? Its really annoying and would it be better just having a notification message on NB status bar. Hi Marian, I've restarted from a new userdir, deleting the previous ~/.netbeans/nb6.0rc2 and the following 3 things occurred: 1. this time no more error dialogs appeared and NB seems working well; 2. I'm not able to find anymore the following plug-ins: Next Error Action Insert Unicode Rectangular Edit Tools Strip Whitespace User Tasks Bug List Source Copyright Suggestions To Do Tasks Scanning Run Terminal Path Tools Image Paste Support It seems that even if the "3rd Party Plugins" and the "Plugin Portal" Update Centers are set and enabled, no plug-ins from these centers are displayed; 3. (this is the worst problem) issue #111218 (http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=111218) is still live.
