Hello NetCAT team,

by now all of you should have received your personal invitations to NetCAT 6.0 Satisfaction survey. Although you can just ignore this request I would like to ask you for help. This is the official way how you can give us some feedback on the NetCAT initiative itself and to motivate you a bit it's worth 5 CAT points. :-)

So, if you have something you would like to tell me regarding coordination of the NetCAT 6.0 or anything related to this program, please go and take part in this very last research. In case you don't get your invitation e-mail, let me know as soon as possible since the survey will be closed next Friday - December 7th.

Thanks for your support,
-Jirka

OK Jiri, done. It has been fun. I hope we get the things we missed this go around in 6.1. I think you have done a great job with your role as coordinator. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you everybody! Actually, NetCAT coordination is pretty controversial role so I do appreciate your nice feedback.

The pleasure is mine. Many of you are true professionals who understand the full picture.

Cool, so I am winner! :-D

That's not defined yet. If there is a NetCAT for 6.1 it will be rather lightweight.

Bryan Boone wrote:

Absolutely! But shhh, don't tell anyone else!

Joshua Smith wrote:

Thanks again. Of course, it's still far from perfect (unanswered questions, open bugs etc.) but I still hope you enjoyed it. We tried to play fair and received some pretty good feedback in return. That's the point and I for one believe it payed off.

Thank you,
-Jirka

Hello Siamak,

Hi Jiri,

Nothing but humbleness from my part about your role and how you fulfilled it. Really superb. I hope you keep on taking up this responsibility because it will be very hard for anybody else to live up to the standards you've set.

Thanks to all for all the nice discussions we've had while participating in the NetCAT 6.0 program, especially to Jirka who has been facilitating it all :)
Hopefully other developers than us will enjoy Netbeans as much as we do.

Have a nice Christmas everyone!!

Best Regards

PS! When will the t-shirts be sent?

Good question. My plan is this:

Monday (12/3)
1. Count CAT points on

Tuesday (12/4)
2. Announce best participants
3. Gathering postal addresses

Friday (12/7)
4. Close Satisfaction Survey
5. Send out NetCAT gifts

Monday (12/10)
6. Publish results, activity chart
7. Official ending

Hope this helps,
-Jirka
