[mobility] Mobility modules in Plugin Manager

Hi!

Don't know if anyone's still reading this list, but I'll give it a
shot anyway... ;)

As we all know, the Mobility Pack is not officially supported on Mac
OS X. However, the Mobility stuff shows up in the Plugin Manager
interface. Will they work if they are installed from here (with for
example the MPowerPlayer emulator)? If they won't work, I don't think
they should be offerred as downloads for Mac users.

Regards,
Markus Svensson

Hi Markus,
It is working on my Mac (I have currently Leopard 10.5.1 but it used to
work fine with Tiger too). As you said it is necessary to set up the
emulator - I use MPowerPlayer. The only thing I need to do is to set up
the permissions of MPowerPlayer preverifier and then create new Custom
Platform in NetBeans where need to change Preverify Command and
Execution Command properly. I don't remember exact steps but if you are
interested then I can investigate and provide more information about
settings later.

Regards,
.JARa

Hi,

cool - then I'll have to give that a try. I have the link to Lukas Hasiks blog
posting where he describes how to get it running on a Mac
(http://blogs.sun.com/lukas/entry/mobility_pack_on_mac), and I thnik all
necessary settings are documented there?
