[mdb-dev] mdb-export breaks silently with JET3 and non ASCII characters

Hi all.
I have a mdb database from Access 97 (JET3).
I'm trying (mdb-)exporting some table and I've noticed that dump breaks on first record including text fields with accented letters (e.g. à). Neverthless mdb-export return value is 0.
Is this a known bug?
Is there a workaround (I'm not interested in exporting accented letters, I can survive without)?
