 Hi

 I've ended up with every track duplicated (I copied the library onto it's
 self one upon a time) which is a total pain.

 eg.

 01 Piano & I
 01 Piano & I (2)

 or

 05 Castle in the Clouds
 05 Castle in the Clouds (2)

 So I would like a "Remove duplicate tracks" feature please.

 PS.  I'm contribute $100 if this feature becomes available before I've
 found an alternative fix to my problem.

 PPS.  Can we have PhotoBrainz which also provides deduplication of photos
 (even if they have been rotated.)  Many thanks.

 As part of the Picard Wizard project Alexander is developing as a Google
 Summer of Code student he has implemented some options for duplicate
 handling. You can choose to

 1. move duplicates to a separate folder
 2. leave duplicates at their original position
 3. Append a number to the names of the duplicates (the current behavior)

 Maybe this would solve your problem (I would find an automatic deletion
 quite dangerous, but you can delete the duplicates folder).

 I can't tell you at the moment when (or if) the change will make it into a
 Picard release, but if you are fine with building and running Picard from
 source you can check it out at launchpad (you need bazaar to check out the
 code): https://code.launchpad.net/~sonium/picard/wizard
